SENIORS' FITNESS

Seniors can lose a lot of muscle over the years. Significant muscle loss may rob them of their independence, thus ending a lot of life's pleasures. As seniors become less active, they become weaker. The weaker a person is, the less they will want to do. This begins a vicious cycle.

Our team at Fit 'N' Well have developed a strength training program with these seniors in mind. We train them in the privacy of their own homes with the equipment that we bring with us. Our program has been so successful that our senior clients have experienced strength gains of 200 to 1000% in as little as 8-12 weeks.

This section is dedicated to the memory of Olaf Johanson (May 1, 1926 - June 5, 1999), a client who greatly influenced my life in a short span of time and became a wonderful friend. As the retired president of O.J. Pipelines, Ole fondly spoke of his family and his career. Two weeks before liver cancer took his life, I asked him what made his business life so successful. I was expecting some revolutionary answers about how to lead people and generate business. All he said was "Greg, I've always treated people how I think I would like to be treated if I were in their shoes. Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you. If you do this, all of the other commandments will take care of themselves."
